Purpose of the present research was to study the reaction time of university female students separately for visual and auditory stimuli, and to analyze the difference between them. Fifty-four under graduate university female students from Jessore University of Science and Technology volunteered as subjects for the present study. Their age ranged from 18 to 24 years.Reaction time was measured for visual and auditory stimuli using Electronic Reaction Timer. Results showed that the mean reaction time for visual stimulus was 0.192 s and mean reaction time for auditory stimulus was 0.189 s. Difference between auditory and visual reaction time was not statistically significant.
