Abstract
This comparative study examines the infrastructural facilities for sports and games in secondary schools across two districts, Raebareilly and Pratapgarh, in Uttar Pradesh. By analyzing data from 200 participants, the study identifies significant disparities in the availability and quality of sports facilities, equipment, and trained personnel between the districts. Raebareilly schools demonstrate superior infrastructure, contributing to higher student participation in sports and positive impacts on academic performance. In contrast, Pratapgarh schools face challenges due to inadequate facilities and limited resources, affecting overall student engagement. The study underscores the critical role of sports infrastructure in promoting holistic development and suggests targeted improvements in facilities, equipment, and personnel, particularly in rural areas. These enhancements aim to foster a more inclusive and active student population, thereby contributing to equitable educational opportunities.
